Muskegon Polish Festival Names a new President

MUSKEGON, Mich., January31, 2024 —The Muskegon Polish Festival has named Donna Piasecki executive board president. “Donna Piasecki is no stranger to the Muskegon Polish Festival,” said the festival’s secretary, Anna Moss. “She has been involved in festival planning since the start. Donna’s strengths include terrific organizational skills, an enthusiasm for the festival, and a vision for the future, all of which made her a natural choice for festival president.”

“I’m excited to take on this role and continue the work of the Muskegon Polish Festival, which was co-founded by my late husband, Len,” said Piasecki.“I appreciate the support the festival has received from the community all these years and look forward to introducing some exciting additions this year.”

Tom Sanocki had served as board president since the festival’s inception in 2015 until late last year. “I’m very proud of the work we did to get the festival off the ground and keep it running hard, straight, and long during my presidency,” he said. “I worked 12 months a year on festival-related projects and found it especially important to respond to and thank people for their suggestions, donations, and volunteer work.” “ I have the most respect and admiration for Donna and know she will do an excellent job continuing the legacy we’ve created, making the Muskegon Polish Festival the best in West Michigan!”
